The Factory

Growing up, we lived near a paper factory. Actually we were pretty much surrounded by it. Now, that whole complex is completely gone.

This picture was taken in 2005, I think. 

What the creek looked like in 2004 or 2005.

This was taken December 24th, 2011. They re-routed the creek and added two waterfalls. It's really lovely now. It's amazing what can be done.

I have so many pictures that I have taken over the last eight years. It baffles me to think of what use to be. People used to work to make paper in the buildings that have since been demolished. My former neighbor spent all of her life on Bryant Street, working and living. 

365 Days of Photos for 2012.

In 2010, i took a picture a day for 365 days.
In 2012, I'm going to do that again. Starting today, January 1st, 2012. I'll upload a photo later. We are getting a snowstorm, and i'll go out and snap some photos of that.
